Paradigm is a renovated farm house and hay barn providing 2 sumptuous, luxury self catering properties. Originally built in the 1720s Paradigm is positioned in the tranquil northern Lake District national park in 6 acres of private land at the end of a private road. Set with lawns, orchards and woodland a natural 60 ft waterfall and space to roam; yet only 4 miles from the market town of Cockermouth and 13 miles from Keswick.

From the doorstep you can enjoy some fantastic fell walks, mountain bike routes and even a helicopter flight.
Sailing, rock-climbing and other activities are nearby.

You can sooth away your aches by putting on your bath robes (provided) and relaxing in the outdoor spa pool under the stars looking over the valley.


Or if you prefer you can just go to work ???? - Take, with our compliments, a flight of a lifetime over Loweswater, Crummock and Buttermere with owner Mark as he goes to work or comes home from the slate mine at the top of the mountain Fleetwith pike in his Gazelle helicopter.

In the eveningenjoy your pre ordered meal that Jan, your host, will leave discreetly in the oven for you to serve at your leisure, accompanied by a glass of chilled champagne that we will leave in your welcome hamper along with some of the finest Cumbrian foods to help start your stay.
